Questions we hear most
What should I bring to my tax appointment?
Photo ID, Social Security numbers and dates of birth for everyone on the return, last year’s federal, Ohio and city returns, and every W-2 and 1099 you received. See the full checklist.
What are your hours?
Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm. During tax season (January 1 to April 15) we’re open every day, 8 am to 9 pm.
Who will prepare my return?
Elena Rusakovich, an IRS-registered tax preparer (PTIN). We prepare federal, Ohio and city returns together.
Do you prepare city income tax returns?
Yes, for the city where you live and the city where you work, whether it collects its own tax (Brunswick, Parma, Akron, Canton), uses RITA (Medina, Strongsville and most suburbs) or CCA (Cleveland). In Brunswick, every resident 18 or older must file every year, regardless of income, and the rate is 2.0%.
Can I work with a Russian- or Ukrainian-speaking tax preparer?
Yes. We work in English, Russian and Ukrainian, so you can go over your return with us in Russian or Ukrainian if you prefer.
